Getting started
- Add Tab Nemo to Chrome. A short welcome shows you around.
- Click the puzzle icon in Chrome’s toolbar and pin Tab Nemo, so its icon is always visible.
- Press Alt T (⌥ T on Mac), type a few letters, press Enter.
- Click the house icon in the popup for Home: projects, notes, reminders, sessions, parked tabs and Rewind.

Common questions
The keyboard shortcut doesn’t work
Another extension may be using Alt T. Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts in the address bar and choose a shortcut for “Open Tab Nemo”. Tab Nemo’s Keyboard settings show which shortcuts are set.
How do I open Tab Nemo from other apps?
Tab Nemo has a global shortcut (Ctrl Shift 1, or ⌘ Shift 1 on a Mac). If it doesn’t respond, open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and make sure it’s set and its scope is “Global”. Chrome needs to be running.
How do I back up or move my data?
Open settings → Backup & data → Download backup. On the other computer, use Restore or import with that file. Tab Nemo also keeps daily snapshots, and can save copies to a folder you choose.
How do I bring back tabs after a crash?
After Chrome restarts, Tab Nemo offers to bring back missing tabs. You can also open Home → Rewind and restore any saved moment.
Why can’t Focus mode show my message on some sites?
To show your reminder instead of a blocked site, Tab Nemo needs your permission for those sites. Without it, Chrome still blocks them but shows its own error page. Focus settings has a button to allow this.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Chrome removes everything Tab Nemo stored. Download a backup first if you might come back. Backups you saved to a folder stay where they are.
